The Heartland tenor 4 string banjo is a plectrum and finger style banjo fitted with traditional Irish string gauges, also suitable for jazz styles. These instruments are made with the finest treated tone woods. The maple woods gives these instruments more resonance and volume for folk and jazz-style music. Our deluxe banjos are Fitted with hand-wound D'Addario strings, a quality tone ring, and a durable banjo head. Our Heartland Deluxe Banjo is well built with a maple finish, complete with a closed back, resonator, adjustable tailpiece, and bridge.
