The Theorbo comes from the same family as the Lute and consists of a curved back sound box. The main difference between the Lute and the Theorbo is the extra long neck with 2 pegboxes.

Our Theorbo Bass Lute is a right-handed instrument with 7 fingered single courses and 7 diapasons. The body of this lute is made of 13 solid wood staves (available with Rosewood, Walnut and/or Maple). The soundboard is European spruce which helps create a rich, balanced tone, the soundboard also has a laser engraved rosette’s. This large theorbo features a solid wood fingerboard and satinwood pegs. The end-pin is also made from satinwood. It has 8 nylon frets, 4 rosewood frets and 14 nylon strings The Instrument comes with a custom made padded Muzikkon Case and extra string set are included with this lute.
