The Electric Oud originates from the Turkish and Arabic Oud but has been created with a modern twist. Our Muzikkon Electric Ouds not only allow for silent practice but amplified performances. The Semi-gloss finish and contemporary shape cutaway shape are not only durable but also ergonomically designed for comfort while playing 

Our Muzikkon Electric Arabic style Oud is fitted with a bridge fixed pickup and comes with a quality Pre-amp which offers Tone Control via 4 precise EQ sliders; Bass, Mid, Treble and Pres 

Our Electric Oud has 12 strings consisting of 6 courses of 2 paired strings each (course 1-2 nylon & 3–6 silver wound) Our recommended tuning for this instrument is (DD,GG,AA,DD,GG,CC) but can be modified and tuned to multiple other tunings. The tuning pegs on the Electric ouds are Arabic style wooden tuning pegs made from walnut. Our electric Ouds still keep the original pear-shaped body design and as well as a fretless neck..  

The tone of the electric oud is very similar to that of the traditional Oud but with additional options to hone in on the sound quality you desire through the built-in equalizer. The electric oud also offers ease of transportation and a robust padded gig bag. Your next important consideration is what finish you choose; available in Black, Red and white/cream gloss.
