Muzikkon McHugh Ayra 34-String Celtic Lever Harp Ash Wood

The Muzikkon McHugh Ayra 34-String Lever Harp combines traditional Celtic-inspired design, quality craftsmanship, and beautiful tonal character. Part of our McHugh range of Celtic lever harps, the Ayra is designed to suit players of different experience levels, from beginners and students to more advanced harpists.

Inspired by illustrations from the Book of Kells, the decorative design at the base of the soundboard gives this harp a distinctive character. Its solid, flat base provides stability, while the ergonomically designed curved soundbox and shoulder offer a comfortable playing position.

The McHugh Ayra Harp also comes with two sets of legs, allowing you to choose between three different playing heights to suit your preferred playing position. This added flexibility makes it easier to adapt the harp to your comfort and playing requirements.

Rich Tone and Quality Craftsmanship

The McHugh range of Celtic lever harps is crafted using strong, durable hardwoods for the frame and a spruce soundboard selected for its tonal qualities. The combination of quality tonewoods, medium-gauge strings, and 34 high-quality quick-release levers delivers a warm, well-rounded sound suitable for Celtic music, traditional melodies, practice, and performance.

This Harp features a staved soundbox, constructed from carefully joined wooden sections. This traditional construction enhances resonance while providing structural strength and durability.

With its 34-string configuration, extended range, and versatile lever system, the McHugh Ayra Harp is an excellent choice for harp students, music teachers, and experienced players seeking an affordable Celtic lever harp in Ireland and beyond.
